Highest level of glycosinolates which are biologically active against insects, nematodes and fungal pathogens, such as Sclerontinia and Verticillium Wilt. Plant prior to high value crops such as vegetabels to reduce disease and weeds. Excellent nitrogen and mineral sequestration due to 3-6' roots. Plant late summer/ early fall, allow to die at freezeup, then over winter and work material into soil for early weed and disease control. Plant in spring after danger of frost.
